Bundled Services

Definition

Bundled Services (Canadian Insurance Glossary): the practice of combining two or more different types of insurance policies—typically home (property) and automobile coverage—under a single contract with one insurer so that the customer receives a multi-policy discount on both premiums, shares one deductible if both properties are damaged in the same loss, enjoys coordinated billing and renewal dates, and benefits from simplified administration and the convenience of dealing with one claims team.
