Blanket Coverage

Definition

Blanket Coverage: A type of property insurance that protects multiple items or locations under one single limit of insurance, instead of listing and insuring each item or location separately. This approach simplifies coverage and typically reduces paperwork for the policyholder by providing protection across a broad group of insured property (such as multiple buildings at different addresses, or a collection of tools, equipment, or inventory), up to the total limit stated on the policy.
