Congratulations! You’re employer, Baseball Development Group (BDG) has made you eligible for their employee’s extended health benefits plan.
This plan is brought to you by Ontario Blue Cross® and Red Hem Insurance.
Application Process
After you fill out the application, a Red Helm Insurance broker will review it to make sure the information is complete and relevant. For your benefit, they may reach out looking out for more information. This is to ensure the best possible experience with the insurance company.
Upon review of your application, assuming all information is complete and relevant, your advisor will send you a confirmation email with instructions on how to sign the application digitally. Your application still has not yet been submitted to the insurance company. Your signature is required for that.
You’ll receive an email notification from Red Helm Insurance via DocuSign to review and sign the application via the DocuSign platform. Copies will be emailed to you upon signature completion and an email will be sent to you by your Red Helm advisor when your application is sent to the insurance company.
The policy will become effective upon the approval by Ontario Blue Cross®.
The policy will become effective upon the approval of Ontario Blue Cross®. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email from your Red Helm Insurance advisor. 10 business days after this the policy becomes effective, your Red Helm Insurance advisor will contact you via email to confirm you have received all your documentation and that you are satisfied.

You are not currently covered by the plan. In order to become a plan member, you must fill in the application below. After filling in the application, a Red Helm Insurance representative will reach out to you to provide you a date at which your coverage will begin. Disclosure
This insurance application will not be submitted to the insurance company until you have received formal email confirmation from your Red Helm Insurance advisor. Do not submit this application if you have not reviewed plans with and/or have been contacted by a Red Helm Insurance representative. Any information submitted within this application may be shared with the insurance company in question for the purpose of underwriting the insurance coverage you are applying for.
