Agent Of Record (AOR) – The licensed insurance broker or brokerage that your province formally recognizes as the only representative allowed to deal with an insurer on your behalf for a specific policy. Once an AOR letter is signed and submitted to the insurance company, any other broker must obtain written permission from the AOR to obtain quotes, request policy changes, or renew that policy.
