Description

Working with Red Helm Insurance, a health benefits advisor would provide front-line customer service and develop business associated with health, travel and life insurance. While this role is independent (and remote) in nature, successful candidates would be supported by being provided sales leads, industry leading sales and service systems, mentorship, the support of a team and a compensation base. This is an opportunity to get involved with a project that will allow you to earn your value. 

Responsibilities

.

  • Selling health, travel and life insurance products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications, following-up on inquiries, re-quoting prospects from previous years, and contacting leads generated.
  • Creating a trusting environment that fosters new sales opportunities and retention of existing business. Building and fostering a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Actively participating within the team by contributing to overall business improvement.
  • Owning and resolving all customer inquiries, while ensuring the customer effort is minimized.
  • Accurately processing account changes, maintaining complete customer documentation, preparing correspondence, and documenting files for follow up.
  • Tackling complex insurance-related cases, creatively utilizing all available resources until full resolution is met.
  • Planning, executing and reviewing a business plan that prioritizes growth without sacrificing stability while ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements

.

  • High-energy individuals who are excellent communicators both verbally and written, and who have great active listening skills
  • Customer centric people who are motivated by sales targets, and who want control of their total earnings potential

  • The ability to persuade and negotiate using a consultative sales approach over the phone or through online chat

  • Strong attention to detail when gathering client information, conducting a thorough needs analysis, offering personalized solutions, identifying sales opportunities, and closing sales

  • Proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with a wide variety of clients to ensure an effective solution is reached

  • Comfortable navigating multiple programs/screens at the same time while working with clients. This includes an ability to learn internal systems along with a proficiency in MS Outlook, quoting sofware, and other web-based systems

  • Telephone sales, or call centre experience
  • Insurance licensed and experience dealing with Accident, Sickness, and Life Insurance
  • Post-secondary degree: however, equivalent business experience is strongly considered
  • Bilingualism in English & French is an asset
